Her hand shook a little but he ignored it. She would be nervous. This was all new to her. He stepped closer to her, invading her space so their bodies were touching, and then, with his lips close to hers, he didn’t kiss her. “And we learn what each other likes. How we love to be touched.”

“Do you want this?” she asked.

“Yes, I do.” He was going to leave her begging for him, but she was too close to deny. Putting his hands on her waist, he pressed his lips against hers, and kissed her.

Colt didn’t hold anything back. Tracing his tongue across her lip, she gasped and he took full advantage, sinking inside and tracing her tongue with his. At first, Rosalie didn’t seem too confident, but she soon followed his lead, kissing him back. Her hands were on his forearms and they slowly slid up until they were wrapped around his neck, drawing him close to her.

He felt her curves pressed against his. The hard mounds of her tits, the feel of her body. She was even better than he thought she would be. She fit against him like she was always meant to be there. Breaking from the kiss, he stared down into her eyes, which were closed. She slowly opened them.

“Not everything or every time has to be awful.” He kissed the tip of her nose. “But let me know if you’re not interested.”

From the peaks of her nipples pressing against the swimsuit, he knew he’d gotten to her. He couldn’t help but smile as he began to swim as he wasn’t without effect either. His cock was so fucking hard. All he wanted to do was fuck her and take her. But he didn’t.

Allowing the water to ease his body, he brought his thoughts back to club business which was an easy deterrent from any kind of arousal.

When he got to the other side of the pool, his dick was back to flaccid again, only to get hard as he watched Rosalie climb out of the pool. She had the nicest ass he’d ever seen. Even though she had lost some weight, her ass hadn’t lost the shape and it made him hungry to touch. He’d teased her now, so everything was up to her.

Colt allowed the pool to take him away, to let his mind ease. His father had said he would talk to him when he got back from the honeymoon. The less he knew, the better. Something had been found at the Evil Fuckers MC, but his father knew there was a time and place to discuss everything. They had to act like they didn’t know what the fuck was happening with Daemon or what he had planned. Colt didn’t like it, but his father knew what he was doing.

After half an hour in the pool, he climbed out and headed inside to find Rosalie in the kitchen.

“You’re making dinner already?” he asked.

She nodded. “Steak with potatoes and salad.”

“Sounds good.” He moved past her, kissing her on the neck. “I’ll go and get changed.”

He felt her eyes on him but he didn’t stop. Colt went to his room and checked his cell phone. No calls from Dirty or back home, and he’d noticed Rosalie’s cell phone was nowhere to be found. He must be doing the job he’d told him to do.

Rosalie laid in bed and touched her lips. It had been several hours since they had kissed and she was sure her lips still felt the effects of his touch.

“Stupid.” She dropped her hand and stared up at the ceiling.

It was dark and warm. She had a single blanket over her body, and she began to turn to the left, staring at the far doors, which led out to a beautiful veranda that overlooked the gardens with the view of the beach. Spinning to the right, she looked at the door—the door that would lead to Colt’s. No, she wasn’t tempted to take him up on the offer.

She and Petal had only talked for a few minutes tonight. Dirty had insisted on taking Petal out to dinner and seeing as it was free food, her friend was more than happy to oblige.

Rosalie felt thirsty. Sleep wasn’t coming to her. Sitting up, she flung her offending blanket off her body, and then stepped onto the carpeted floor, which was so soft. She ran her feet back-and-forth before getting up and making her way to the door. She had a pair of slippers, which she slid on as the wooden floor downstairs would be way too cold on her feet. She walked downstairs toward the kitchen only to pause when she saw Colt making himself a sandwich.

“Couldn’t sleep?” Colt asked.

“Neither could you?” She didn’t know if that was a question or a statement.

He chuckled. “Nope, which is why I’m making myself this sandwich.” He put the slice of bread on top, picked it up, and took a large bite.
