Janie’s reply was the best thing a man could hope for. Slowly, her hands ran up and down my back, caressing and massaging those hard muscles.

“I know, Mason,” she breathed. “I love you and I know.”

That was all it took. I had to have her then, hard, hot and hungry. It’d been too long and my rod was already like metal, poking against her softness. With a mewl, she circled her arms around my neck, clinging to me, her temperature soaring in my arms.

“I love you, Mason,” she whispered against my lips. “Take me now. I need it. I need you, and I’ve missed you so much.”

Like a madman, I ravaged her. My mouth descended on Janie’s, my tongue pushing into that sweet, hot cavern with masculine possession. I held her face between mine, pulling back only to stare deeply into those blue eyes.

“Promise you’ll never leave again,” I rasped brokenly, my breath hitching. “I don’t think I could survive, sweetheart, if you did.”

With another sweet smile, Janie kissed me on the lips and whispered, “I promise, Mason. I love you, and the baby and I are yours.”

I seized her mouth then, staking my territory and running my hands all over her lush form. After all, this is my stepsister, but she’s also so much more. I met Janie when she was dancing in a dive bar, but she’s no low-rent whore. Instead, my beautiful woman is my everything, and with a baby in her belly, our future is bound together for good.

Epilogue

Janie

One year later.

“Whee!” squealed the baby. “Da-da! Da-da”

Baby Boomer laughed as Mason splashed water on him.

“Be careful,” I called while sitting up in the lounge chair. “He’s still a newborn, and they don’t know how to swim.”

But Mason and Boomer were oblivious and continued to splash together. I sighed with a smile before leaning back. My lover looked as gorgeous as ever, his big form athletic and toned. And our son? Well Boomer seems to be headed for the Olympics too. After all, Mason has him in the pool every day, and I’ve seen him working through some strokes with the infant like pinwheeling the baby’s arms while helping him kick. Surely, gold medals will run in the family.

I sat back with another exasperated smile. At least we have good things now because earlier, it had been pretty rough. I’d had to talk Mason into going into rehab for an “undisclosed reason.”

“Honey, there’s nothing wrong with me,” he rumbled as his hands trailed my curves. I was showing quite a bit now and it only made our passion hotter and stronger.

But I was insistent.

“Mason, we’re working a bit of PR magic here, and part of the routine is going to rehab. Every comeback story contains this element,” I pointed out. “Besides, Sunsets Malibu isn’t exactly going to be tough,” I added. “There’s gourmet food, golf, and an infinity pool by the ocean. What else could you need?”

“But I don’t want to leave you,” he growled, his hand slipping over my hip to dip into my pussy, his fingers flitting against my clit. “You just came back.”

I gasped. My man always has this effect on me. Even though I’d just erupted like a volcano, now I wanted him again.

“Mason,” I said between heaving breaths, my legs already parting. “You have to. Please.”

He groaned before leaning down to kiss a stiff pink nipple.

“Okay, but only because I love you, Janie,” he growled before starting up round two. Sure enough, his bags were packed the next day and he dutifully checked into Sunsets in order to play the part of a repentant sinner.

It’s not exactly a bad thing because his internet addiction was real. We talked more about it, and I know he worked on it with a therapist or two at Sunsets. When Mason finally ended the six-week program, he seemed to have a better understanding of his own psychology.

“It’s about how I deal with stressful situations,” he said. “When I feel boxed in, I find an out through any means possible. In this case, it was going to strip clubs and compulsively flipping through profiles on-line. But I’m better now. I understand the consequences of my actions, and the effect it had on you.”

“Thank you,” I breathed. “That sounds wonderful, and I’m glad you went because it seems to have worked.”

But to be honest, Sunsets was just the beginning. Once Mason got out, he kept on going to therapy even as our relationship moved forward at light speed. Sure, there were a lot of sideways glances, and people gossiped, but I didn’t care.

“Oh my God, brother and sister? That’s gross.”

“She’s showing. How long have they been at it do you think?”

Worst of all, I saw some sideways glances and some whispers along the lines of, “I hope the baby isn’t deformed.”
