“I love you so much.” My angel smiles up at me, and my heart melts while my cock turns to stone.

“I love you, too.” I place one more kiss on her soft lips before falling asleep holding her close.

Epilogue 1

London

Four months later

“Bender is driving me nuts.” I stare at the latest set of instructions he left for me and shake my head. I know he loves me and the baby, but the overprotective caveman act is getting on my last nerve. At our first doctor’s appointment, the doctor warned me that my blood pressure was a little high and my husband lost his mind.

“You scared the shit out of him. Again.” Gloria walks in our kitchen door carrying several grocery bags with Rulie on her heels. “He’ll get over it eventually,” she promises me, but I’m not so sure. He was still waking up in a cold sweat from nightmares weeks after the kidnapping, and then my doctor had to be a tattletale.

“Number one. London must stay in the house at all times unless Bender or Grizz are available to escort her out.” I start reading the list and see Rulie hiding his smile behind his hand.

“Number two. London must put her feet up and do nothing for no less than five times for sixty minutes each time. Doing nothing includes not working on the computer. She is allowed to watch television or read.” That one pisses me off. How does he expect me to get my work done? Plus, I’d be bored within ten minutes.

“Number three.” I continue to read the freaking list from hell until Gloria interrupts me.

“We get the idea, sweetie.” She walks over and places a white chocolate mocha in front of me. “I hope this helps. I’m taking my life into my hands by bringing you caffeine.”

“I love you.” I sigh and take a sip of heaven. My freaking husband won’t let me drink coffee, and I’ve started going through withdrawals. We have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow, and I hope the doctor eases some of his fears. I would appreciate him calming the hell down, too.

“Don’t worry.” She pats my shoulder. “We’re here for you.” I already know that. After the scary incident, Bender and my brother have been tripping over themselves to make sure I’m taken care of. Their constant mothering is starting to get old. Luckily, Gloria realized I’m about to explode and stepped in. It took some convincing, but she managed to assure Bender that she would take care of me when he can’t be around.

I knew there was no way Bender would survive the ordeal of a big wedding after the kidnapping incident, so I asked my brother to arrange a simple ceremony at the clubhouse. All the brothers attended the quick vows, then we had a huge party to celebrate both our wedding and Christmas.

My parents were out of the country and couldn’t attend our ceremony, but I didn’t miss out on anything. The MC brothers stepped in and made sure it was the wedding of my dreams. A few days after the ceremony, the clubhouse cleared out for the holidays, and we got to spend the holidays naked and wrapped around each other.

Cash and Hadley had twin boys two months ago, and that sent the entire club into another uproar. The excitement helped everyone forget what happened to me and the Cuties. Thank God. I’ve been having weekly video calls with Jenna and the girls, and they seem to be recovering from the ordeal, too.

The police discovered that the woman who held us hostage has a long history of mental issues. When she submitted a story to the magazine, Jenna rejected it, and the woman had a mental break. She stormed the office, believing in her twisted mind that we would publish her story after she assaulted us. At least, she’s getting the help she obviously needs. The judge has ordered her held until she’s deemed completely sane. I doubt she will ever be released, but I’m not worried about it. I know my husband will protect me, no matter what.

“Do you need anything?” Grizz sticks his head in the door to ask.

“Everything is great,” I growl, and the burly bodyguard laughs.

“Have you sat down recently?” he teases me, and I stick my tongue out at him. “You know that nutcase you married will check the logs to see if you rested enough,” Grizz reminds me.

“No, he won’t.” I’ve hit my limit. Tonight, I’m sitting Bender down and laying down the law.

I spend the rest of the afternoon getting my next story for Curvy Cuties ready. After I hit send, I sit back and close my eyes for a second to rest. My stories are in great demand after my exposé on Pen Rocha went viral. Jenna has been wonderful about working with me while I try to figure out how to manage a long-distance career and growing family.
