“I’m awake. Just going to shower,” I shout to my mom. She wiggles the handle. I almost have a heart attack, but it doesn’t open. I realize Asher must have locked it.

“All right. Just checking on you. No rush. The hair and makeup people will be here at two.”

“Okay.” I wrap the sheet around me. When I peek over at Asher, I see he’s now standing, putting his cock back into his boxers. It’s still hard. I press my thighs together at the thought of how it felt when he came on me. I thought men went soft after they came. Then again, nothing about Asher is soft.

“You need to get out, and I need to shower.” I try to get up but end up tangled in the sheet. Asher catches me before I fall flat on my face. I wiggle away from him. We stand there in silence just feet apart. He stares at me while I look anywhere but at him.

“Shit,” he mutters when a ding goes off. He walks over to his pants on the floor and pulls his phone out before he puts them back on. “I have to take this, but this isn’t over. We need to talk.”

“No, we don’t. A deal is a deal. You got your taste,” I remind him. Isn't that what he said? He'd be nice and leave our parents alone if I gave him what he wanted.

“Terms have changed.” I gape at him. What does that mean? He drops a kiss on the top of my head before he walks out of my bedroom, leaving me a mess. I don’t only mean between my thighs but my emotions too.

Asher

I didn’t want to leave Molly, but there was no choice. I’m still not sure how I didn’t sink my cock inside of her. I remind myself that she’s not ready for that. Honestly, I’m not really sure how I’m going to fit inside of her. Even getting my tongue into her had been a fight. My cock jerks in my pants. You’d think I didn’t come harder than I ever have in my life.

“There is something seriously wrong with me.” I adjust myself in my pants before I walk over to the desk in my bedroom and power my laptop on to see why Sam texted me to call him when I got a second. He’s the head of the financial assistance team for the Score family. There are so many damn trusts and investments from over the years it’s a full-time job that three people handle. Especially when you throw in the stocks.

“What’s going on?” I say when he answers the call. I know it has to be something important. It’s not only Saturday, not that I don’t usually work every day, but everyone knows that it’s my father’s fiftieth birthday party today.

Hell, I’m pretty sure Sam himself and his wife are on the attendee list. I’m guessing whatever he needs to tell me either can’t wait or he doesn’t want to mix business with pleasure later on today.

Sam lets out a long sigh. “Out with it.” I don’t have all day. Actually, I do. What the hell am I going to do for the next few hours? Obsess over a girl I barely know? One that has too much control and power over me already? It’s not something I’m used to. It’s actually the one thing I’ve been trying to avoid for most of my life. In saying that, I have to admit that I’m starting to understand my father.

“When your father got married, he put his new wife on some accounts and such.”

“And?”

“She’s been bleeding them dry rather quickly.”

“How much?” This party alone is a million easy. If she was handling all that shit and other things, I could see burning through some money rather quickly.

“Ten million in total from the three accounts. Your father gave me a standing order to refresh the accounts when needed.”

Ten million dollars. It’s not a dent in the Scores’ worth, but that’s a hell of a lot of money for a woman who used to be a nurse to spend in the short amount of time they’ve been married.

“She’s opened a few cards too, and has been poking around about getting her name on a few of the trusts.”

“He didn’t make her a trustee?” I’d be surprised if he hadn’t. With as smitten as my father is, I figured he would be worried if something were to happen to him that his new wife would be taken care of without having to jump through any hoops. It’s what I’d do.

The thought takes the air out of my lungs because I know who I’d do that for. A girl that doesn’t even want to be a part of the Score family, from what I’ve gathered of Molly in the small time I’ve known her.
