“Yes, Daddy,” she whimpers.

“That’s my girl,” I say, threading my fingers through her hair as I lift her into my arms and carry her into my bedroom.

I lie her down beneath me and lift her nightgown all the way off above her head, then strip out of my work clothes and climb on top of her, hard as a rock.

As I slide inside her, and her cute moan fills my ear, all I can think about is just how lucky I am. Just how grateful I am to have Whitney in my life. Just how blessed I am that she showed up at my event that day and how things ended up going for the both of us.

I think about that day often. How if the men guarding me for that event hadn’t caught her, how if I hadn’t decided to go out back to question her, how if she hadn’t come over to stay with me that night or accepted my offer to work for me, maybe none of this would have happened.

But then again, maybe it was destiny. Maybe Whitney and I were just meant for each other, and nothing could have ever kept us apart.

And that is what I choose to believe.

We come together, like we always do when we make love, and I grasp her by the hair, my other arm locked around her in a tight embrace as her body spasms against mine.

“I love you, Whitney,” I grunt into her ear, knowing just how blessed I am.

“I love you too, Ethan,” she gasps back, clinging on to me with both arms. “I love you.”

THE END
