“Oh,” I say, able to get on board with that, a thrill shooting through my veins and easing the nervousness. “And the private rooms?”

Casey smiles. “Our private rooms are scattered throughout the club. If the door is closed, it’s in use. Do not enter unless you’ve been specifically invited by the participants within the room. If the door is open, you have free rein to enter,” she explains. “Each room is themed. We have a few dark rooms, and being new to this lifestyle, I recommend starting there. You might be more comfortable. Our patrons’ safety is our top priority. You will be in good hands. The men who like to frequent our private rooms are quite skilled when it comes to understanding a woman’s . . . needs, and they will take care of your every desire.”

Woah. Can she see my cheeks flush in this dim lighting?

A pulse of electricity shoots down my spine, and before I know it, I feel that pulse deep in my core, and my thighs clench with anticipation.

Am I really going to do this?

Holy crap. This is insane, and yet, I can’t wait.

Casey ducks behind her desk, and a moment later, she hands me two wristbands. One white, signifying my virginity, and one red, a clear signal to any man inside this club that I’m willing to have sex . . . in private, of course.

As for Becs, she’s handed both a green and violet wristband, and she quickly snaps them into place, proud and excited for what the night will hold.

“You ready?” she asks, taking my wrist and helping me with my bands.

“Yeah,” I say with a slow smile.

This isn’t exactly how I’d always planned to lose my virginity, but let’s face it, I came to terms with the fact that my wild night with Izaac Banks was never going to happen. It’s time for me to let go. To explore the limitations of my body and enjoy life the way I should have always been doing.

“One last thing before you go,” Casey says, reaching for my wrist. She grabs a stamper and presses the cool ink to the inside of my wrist, and when she pulls it away, I find a dazzling gold moth, the wings shimmering in the low lights. “This stamp will gain you access into the VIP rooms downstairs, and from one woman to another, that’s exactly where you want to be. Now, you’re both on contraceptives?”

“Yes,” we say in unison as Casey re-inks the stamper and presses it to the inside of Becs’ wrist.

“Wonderful. All of our members are clean and take regular tests, so you may use a condom at your own discretion. If you want them to wear protection, all you need to do is say the word, and they’ll suit up. If someone refuses, do not consent and report them. Like I said, we take the safety of our guests seriously.”

I nod, and not a moment later, Casey steps out from behind her desk and leads us deeper into the room to another solid black door.

“Enjoy yourselves,” Casey smiles as she pulls the door open. “Welcome to the best night of your lives.” As we step forward, the smell of sex and alcohol beckons us to step over the threshold and dive headfirst into a night of wild passion.

Becs takes my hand, and as the sultry music assaults my eardrums, we step into the madness, and the second we do, I feel the hungry stares of the vultures. They rake up and down my body, lingering on the white wristband, and I can’t help but feel like a challenge, but I push it aside, trying to remember what Casey said—I have control. I have the power to say no to anybody. I can participate as little or as much as I want.

“Why don’t we take a look around first?” Becs offers, looping her arm through mine as if knowing that I need a little nudge.

I nod, and as we start walking, I let my gaze sail across the luxurious club. Everything is dark. Floors. Walls. Booths. Furniture. Even the bar follows the same theme. There’s a stage for dancers and even an inground heated pool that has steam floating across the top of the water. Not gonna lie, it looks incredible, but considering the woman currently in a world of ecstasy with a man on either side of her, I don’t even want to begin to know what kind of DNA is in that water.

Sheer curtains hang throughout the club to separate sections. Some small booth-like areas seem intimate, meant for two people, and some are much larger for hosting bigger . . . parties. Nearly all of them are occupied. Some couples are just having a drink while others are in the wild throws of passion, riding each other, getting off on the attention they draw.
