“Fine,” he growls into my ear, then shoves me flat onto the seat and starts a furious pace, slamming into me hard and fast.

I’m about to come. The orgasm builds higher and higher, and I wrap my fingers around the warm leather of the seat to anchor myself. But right before my body explodes, he jerks himself from my ass and spills his cum all over my ass and lower back.

I pop my eyes open, my body strung tight like a bowstring.

When his heavy panting stops and he stills above me, I risk a glance back.

“I told you to give me what I want, stellina, and I’ll make you feel good. As I said before, I don’t reward brats who don’t follow orders.

After he tucks himself into his pants, he lifts me gently from the seat and settles me naked across his lap. Everything aches, and I hate I want him to finish me off, or worse, that I need it. Taking mercy on me, he tucks his hand between my thighs and tilts my chin to force our gazes together. His blue gaze bleeds into mine.

“I know you need to come, so use my hand. Rock against it. I won’t help you; you’ll have to do it all on your own.”

When I set my jaw, he chuckles, brings his fingers to his lips, and licks them. “Mmm. I look forward to tasting you once I get you settled at home.”

Exhaustion falls over me in a wave, dragging me under. I don’t even realize I’ve settled my head against his shoulder, and he’s wrapped his arms around me to keep me warm. I can think about that later.

Right now, sleep is tugging me in deep, and I don’t have it in me to worry about what it all means. Not the gentle whispers he presses into my neck with fluttering kisses, nor the soft, soothing brush of his hand through the trailing ends of my hair.

Especially not the fact that I want him inside me more than anything else.

When we arrive at the house, I text the housekeeper to make sure the place is cleared out. I don’t want a single soul to see her naked. Soo will handle Lucas until I’m ready to deal with him and figure out where he falls into my plans for Celia.

I cradle her against my chest, shove the car door open, and carry her out of the vehicle. The sun is rising on the horizon, sending soft light over her skin. She has bruises along her arms and her hips from my rough handling of her. A tiny part of me feels guilt, but a greater part loves to see my marks on her body. When she sees them, she’ll know she’s mine in every way.

I gently hug her tighter as I walk into the house. As promised, there’s not a soul in sight. She stirs in my arms, and I carefully set her on her feet as I cross the entryway.

“So, we’re back,” she says, her tone strange.

“Go on up, and I’ll be there in a moment. You look like you’re going to pass out.”

She shrugs and walks down the hall. Only now, I notice the slight limp in her step as she leans from one foot to the other. I should have been gentler with her, but I couldn’t. Not when I just got her back. Not when I’m still aching to mark her everywhere.

“Stop,” I call out.

She turns to look at me, her eyes blazing like a fire.

“My room isn’t that way.”

“I know. I’m going to my room.”

She’s not spending another night without me wrapped around her. “No. You’ll be living in my room, so I can take care of you.”

“Take care?” She scoffs at the words like it’s a joke. “Like you just cared for me in the car?”

“Do you want me to carry you?”

She glares, crossing her arms over her breasts to hide them from my view. “No. I can go up to my cell alone. And I’m going to sleep alone and be locked up in my own space.”

I saunter closer to her in case she bolts. “I never said I was locking you up.”

Her eyes track up my bare chest. I forgot to put my shirt on her when we got out of the car. Or maybe I just wanted her bare skin against mine a little longer. “No? Then let me go home.”

“This is your home now. The quicker you get used to the idea, the quicker you can get comfortable.”

This time she advances on me, dropping her arms to square off her hips with her hands. “I don’t want to get fucking comfortable. I don’t know if you caught this in the car, but I fucking hate you, and I don’t want to spend another second of my time in your presence.”
