“We’ll make it up to you,” he promised in a low voice.

Celeste folded her arms over her generous breasts to prevent herself from being drawn closer. “The fucking asshole. He promised me I could have her schedule.”

“There’s a new prospect who only has those hours available.”

“He’s giving a prospect the best time slot, and I’ve been begging for it for two years?”

“She won’t last three days. When she taps out, the spot is yours.”

“What makes you think she’ll tap out?” she asked doubtfully.

“Arden doesn’t even know all the club rules. Once she does, she’ll run so fast a K-9 wouldn’t be able to track her.”

“You sure?” Celeste raised her arms to circle his neck, snuggling against him.

“Have I ever been wrong?”

“No…” she slowly drawled out. “But that doesn’t mean there won’t be a first time.”

“Maybe so, but she won’t be the one to prove me wrong.”

Doom lifted her into the air until her legs wrapped around his hips.

Celeste gave him a calculating glance. “What is this? A pity fuck because Wizard screwed me over?”

Doom opened a drawer containing misplaced items that had been left in the bar. Taking a condom, he walked to a small table, where he used his boot to pull out a chair and sat down with her on his lap.

Tugging her nightshirt up to her waist, he stared appreciatively at her bare pussy sitting on top of his straining cock. “Does that look like I feel sorry for you?”

She licked his bottom lip. “No.” Then she reached for the snap of his jeans as she slightly lifted herself up to pull his hard-on out of the confines of his jeans. Taking the condom from his hand, she tore it open and slid it on his dick.

“There isn’t a man alive who would consider you a pity fuck.” Pulling her down on his cock, he latched on to one of the ruby-red nipples pointed at him.

As she slid her wet pussy up and down his cock, he grasped her breast in his hand to keep it from bouncing upward. The drastic difference between her large breasts and tiny waist had long since lost appeal to him.

From her eyes, Doom could tell she received no pleasure from having her breasts touched. Releasing her nipple, he gripped her waist to lift her off his cock. Then, easily turning her around, he sat her back on his cock. Celeste’s calves wound his to brace herself as she ground herself on him. Low moans turned to shrieks as he rubbed the pad of a finger over her vulva.

“If she doesn’t quit in three days, I get to spend the whole night in your bed. Just you and me.”

Doom pounded his climax out into Celeste, not worried. He never let any of the women in his room, much less spend the night with him. Preferring to keep to himself once he went inside.

There were only five bedrooms in the back of the bar, and once the night wound down, most of the women would search for any empty spot rather than return to their various homes, if none of the brothers wanted them to stay. Margarita was the only female who had earned one of the scarce rooms.

Celeste and Doom were walking out of the kitchen when Kat came in with two bags of groceries.

“Let me wash up. I’ll get the rest of the groceries from the car,” he offered.

“No need.” Laying the groceries on the bar top, she told him, “This is all of it.”

Doom stared at the two lone bags. “There’s no way all of the items on the list I texted you are in two bags.”

“Oh… I forgot to look at the list until after I checked out, but I’m sure I got most of them.”

Doom glowered at her. “Then where’s my milk?”

CHAPTER 9

THE TALK

Jeez. She was beginning to despise mornings.

Glaring up at the sun as she approached The Last Riders’ club door, she would rather jump from a 747 midflight than meet Doom, who was already waiting. The tall asshat had texted her that he would be there to make sure she was on time. Unfortunately, The Last Riders were fulfilling their end of the bargain, and she was going to, too, even if it killed her. And if she didn’t manage to get more sleep soon, it just might.

At least she recognized the guard standing out front.

“Good morning,” she greeted Buck with an enthusiasm she wasn’t feeling. Would it kill one of them to smile? So far, all The Last Riders whom she had met had the personality of a wasp. Well, except Jesus, she clarified. He had saved Luc.

“Go on in. Doom’s waiting.”

Arden rolled her eyes behind her dark sunglasses. She bet the asshole was. They had been arguing back and forth about when she would work at the club. She had managed to come up with different excuses until Saturday morning, but he had warned her that, if she was so much as a minute late, any interactions with The Last Riders would end for Luc.
