Hunger rose up inside me, sharp and fierce, and twisted my gut. “Offer me your throat, Lex. Yes, like that. Such a good girl.” I sank my teeth down hard and groaned as her blood poured into my mouth—warm and sweet.

I drank and drank as I violently pounded into her body like I was trying to punch a hole through it. Her hand flew to the back of my head and held it there as her slick inner walls became tighter and hotter. Then she came. Imploded beneath me with a scream, her core rippling around my dick and shoving me over the edge. I growled against her throat as I hammered into her once, twice, and then blew my load deep inside her.

Jesus, it wasn’t often that I was out of breath. In fact, I’d fought in battle and kept my breathing reasonably steady. But at that moment, I was actually panting like a goddamn racehorse.

I licked over the bite on her neck, sealing the small wound, and lifted my head. Her eyes were shut, her cheeks were flushed, her swollen lips were parted, and there wasn’t a single line of strain on her face.

I nipped at her chin, watching as her eyelids fluttered open. “I want to stay.”

She smoothed her hands over my back. “Then stay,” she said, her voice soft and raspy.

“You won’t get much sleep if I do.”

She gave me a lazy smile. “Well I should hope not.”

(Lexi)

I’d half-expected to find him gone when I woke, but he was sleeping peacefully beside me, his arm tossed over my waist, every muscle in his face relaxed. He’d certainly earned that deep rest, considering how many times he’d taken me through the day. The man was a goddamn machine.

That whole ‘I’ll fuck you harder than any other man ever has’ thing? Not an empty boast. So it was little wonder I ached in so very many places right now.

It would be fair to say we’d fucked like animals. Seriously. It had been wild and savage and urgent. We hadn’t only made use of the bed. He’d taken me against the wall. In front of the mirror. On the floor while I was on my hands and knees. He’d even bent me over the vanity unit at one point.

I’d probably be aching a lot more if he hadn’t run me a bath at the end of what could only be described as a sex marathon. I’d tried waving him off, too tired to move even as I’d known the Epsom salts would help, so he’d pretty much bathed me himself.

Had any man ever done anything that considerate for me before? No, I was pretty sure they hadn’t.

I was also pretty sure none of them had ever made me come that damn hard before. Or that many times in one night—well, day. He’d been so focused on me and my pleasure. He’d never once asked me to touch or suck his cock, but I’d done both, determined to make the most of what time we had.

I could honestly say that no other man had suited me so well in bed. He’d certainly become a benchmark against which I’d measure all future guys … which was a problem, because it was unlikely that they’d outmatch him. It was genuinely a shame that there would be no repeats, but still for the best. Dammit.

I edged out of bed, pulled on my satin robe—a ‘welcome to The Hollow’ gift from Sam and Jared’s fabulous assistant, Fletcher—and padded into the bathroom. I didn’t need to take a shower since I’d soaked in the tub before I fell asleep that final time. So after I’d done my business and brushed my teeth, I returned to the bedroom.

Damien was sitting on the edge of the bed, slipping on his shoes. He looked at me, his usual ghost of a smile present on his face. “Hey,” he said simply.

“Evening,” I greeted as I began pulling clothes from drawers. Pleasantly surprised that I didn’t feel at all awkward, I said, “Thanks for insisting I take that salt bath.”

His mouth curved into a cocky grin that was far too sexy to make me bristle. “You gave me all kinds of shit when I put you in that water.”

“I did? Sorry. In my defence, I was drained. But you did warn me I wouldn’t be able to move once you were done with me. It was good of you to keep your word.”

He chuckled. “I’m a good guy that way.” He braced his elbows on his thighs and watched as I dragged on my clothes … like it was a fashion show or something. I saw no point in getting all shy and asking him to look away. He’d seen all there was to see. Touched pretty much all there was to see. Bitten quite a few of those places as well.
